Effect of polyester polyether composite soft segment on waterborne polyurethane color fixing agent
In order to solve the problem of poor wet fastness of cotton dark fabrics, cationic waterborne polyurethane(CWPU)fixing agent is prepared by using isophorone diisocyanate(IPDI),n-methyldiethanolamine(N-MDEA)and complex soft segment, which including segment polytetrahydrofuranediol(PTMG),polyl,4-butanediol adipate(PBA).The effect on properties of CWPU emulsion and film,as well as the color fixing effect on cotton fabric influenced by the matching of different soft segments are discussed. The results indicate that as the PBA/PTMG mass ratio decreases, the tensile strength of the adhesive film decreases and the elongation at break increases. The CWPU fixing agent with a PBA/PTMG mass ratio of 1:1 has better finishing performance. After finishing, the color fastness to dry friction of the fabric increases from level 3 to level 4~5,the color fastness to wet friction increases from level 1~2 to level 2~3,and the color fastness to soaping increases from level 3 to above level 4.
