Kinetics of formaldehyde color reaction in textiles
In response to the color reaction for the detection of hydrolysis and free formaldehyde in textiles in the standard GB/T 2912.1-2009"Determination of Formaldehyde in Textiles Part 1:Free and Hydrolyzed Formaldehyde(Water Extraction Method)",the key factors affecting the color development rate of formaldehyde acetylacetone are studied.Through single factor reaction kinetics, the influence of different temperature,pH value, and formaldehyde concentration on the color reaction rate is analyzed.Subsequently, based on the experimental results, two sets of color rendering parameters(50 ℃×17 min and 60 ℃×9 min)are selected, and recovery experiments are conducted to verify their effectiveness. After experimental verification, both optimized color parameters show good recovery rates(>90%),and their accuracy is further confirmed by testing the relative standard deviation of 20 samples(RSD<5%).By optimizing the conditions of the color reaction, the color development time is significantly shortened.
