Digital preservation and effect evaluation of the Shu Brocade Dingqiao loom and its weaving technology
A digital protection method based on digital technology for the Shu Brocade Dingqiao loom and its weaving technology is proposed.Firstly,field research is conducted to gather information on the overall form,detailed structure,material texture,manufacturing principles,and weaving principles of the Shu Brocade Dingqiao loom.Secondly,Autodesk 3ds Max software is used to create a 3D model of the loom,and VRay digital technology software is employed for material creation and scene rendering.Finally,the manufacturing and weaving principles of the Shu Brocade Dingqiao loom are digitally and dynamically displayed in a digital format,and the effectiveness of the digital achievements of the Shu Brocade Dingqiao loom will be evaluated.The results show that the use of virtual digital technology can effectively restore the Shu Brocade Dingqiao loom and its manufacturing and weaving principles,providing reference for the cultural relic protection of Shu Brocade Dingqiao loom,the inheritance of Shu Brocade weaving skills,and the research of art archaeology.
