In view of low breaking strength and elongation at break of pure paper yarn,it is combined with long filaments to enhance yarn performance.The appearance,yam structure,and yarn properties of imported paper/polyester composite yarns are tested and analyzed.The research results indicate that the composite yarn has a spiral structure and is wrapped around two polyester filaments in an"8"shape with paper yam.The yarn structure is loose on the outside and tight on the inside;The yarn has good evenness,less fuzz,high breaking strength and elongation;Under external stretching,the composite yarn elongates,the yarn cross-section shrinks,and the paper yarn breaks before the polyester filament.
