Color phase improvement of recycled polyester by subtle fluctuation of reflectance spectral curves
In order to solve the problems of yellowing and high b-value of waste polyester after recycling, transparent dyes are used as toners and the Bezier spectral curve model is combined to numerically improve the color values of recycled polyester. The results show that the use of transparent dyes LANXESS solvent violet 13 and LANXESS solvent violet 36,which have bright colors and good temperature resistance, can effectively reduce the b-value of recycled polyester. The optimized mathematical model predicts and calculates the required dye mass fraction for the regenerated polyester color to reach the target sample b value in highly correlated characteristic bands, which is 39 ×10-4%.Under these conditions, the hue b value of recycled polyester can decrease from 11.35 to 3.89 with the brightness L value of 79.49.
