Design of weft insertion system for ultra wide and ultra thick 3D flat loom
In order to solve the problem of difficult continuous,accurate and stable large-span and multi-layer weft insertion in traditional weaving machines when handling ultra wide and ultra thick fabrics,a weft insertion system for ultra wide and ultra thick 3D flat weaving machines is designed.The weft insertion system consists of a weft insertion mechanism,a rapier lifting mechanism,and a weft tension mechanism.Firstly,the working principle and main functions of the weft insertion system are introduced in detail.Secondly,the material selection and strength verification of the rapier in the rapier selection mechanism are carried out to ensure that the rapier has a small amount of vibration and sag during large-span weft insertion,thereby ensuring the stability of large-span weft insertion.The experimental results show that the designed weft insertion system can effectively improve the work efficiency and fabric quality of the loom,meet the needs of continuous large-span weft insertion weaving of ultra wide and ultra thick fabrics,and greatly improve the production efficiency of ultra wide and ultra thick three-dimensional fabrics.
