Research on Protecting the Victims'Litigation Rights in Cyber Violence Cases
In recent year,the internet has witnessed a surge in the occurrence of cyber violence,which is different from conventional insult and defamation crimes because its occurrence and dissemination are closely related with internet.Furthermore,the information spreads rapidly on the internet and is susceptible to deletion,alteration and disappearance,all of which make victims pay high costs when they want to protect their rights and confront the vast number and anonymity of internet users.Starting with the protection of the victims'litigation rights,this paper elucidates each responsible party involved in cyber violence,clarifies the nature of police agencies'assistance in gathering evidence,and establishes a new mode of public prosecution intervention.All this is positively important to promote victims'successful use of their litigation rights and effectively combat cyber violence.
