Research on the Mechanism of Police Agencies'Implementation of Mass Line in the New Era——Based on the Investigation into the operational effectiveness of the"Police-Civilian Online Discussion Hall"in Province A
The"Police-Civilian Online Discussion Hall"is a working mechanism established by the Public Security Bureau of Province A to implement the police's mass line in the new era.Relying on wechat group to do its work is the basic mode of its operation.However,in its practical operation,such problems exist as the huge cost of online communication,the need to keep balance between regulations and rationality,and doubts about the validity of performance evaluation,thus making it difficult to realize the basic function of the wechat group of police-civilian online discussion hall even in an ideal state.Starting with the operation effect of the police-people online discussion hall,we have found that the mechanism for implementing the police's mass line in the new era should be optimized in three aspects:improving the evaluation method to scientifically formulate the assessment content;doing traditional mass work well to guide activists to support online community policing;striving to get the support from Party committees and governments,and integrate with the governance resources in the jurisdictions.
