As a pivotal nexus of science and technology,serving as the primary driving force for productivi-ty,talent stands as the foremost resource,while innovation takes the lead in propelling modern society.Universities are required to adopt a more forward-thinking approach than other industries,organizations,and fields in response to the demands of the artificial intelligence era.This necessitates breaking away from long-standing traditional norms in talent training and promoting reform in this area.This paper extensively discusses how national policies play a crucial role in driving talent training reform within universities during the artificial intelligence era.It reviews key issues and advancements in theoretical research while propo-sing suggestions for optimizing future talent training structures and arrangements.In order to foster high-quality development within education and economy,college talent training must adapt to new requirements of social and economic progress by implementing deep-rooted structural reforms that optimize regional dis-tribution,types of programs offered,and disciplinary focus.
