Impact of Low-Carbon Technology on China-RCEP Southeast Asia Value Chain Correlation
With the in-depth development of regional value chain and the increasingly severe global environ-mental problems,it is of great significance to examine the impact of low-carbon technologies on the corre-lation degree of the value chain, and to analyze the internal mechanism of the impact of energy conservation and emission reduction effects on the regional value chain, and then promote the high-quality development of the regional value chain of China-RCEP Southeast Asian member countries. This paper incorporates the correlation between low-carbon technologies and value chains into the same analysis framework, selects panel data from China and RCEP Southeast Asian countries from 2010 to 2019 for empirical analysis,con-structs an intermediary effect model and a moderated mediation effect model based on the UIBE database, and focuses on the impact effect and mechanism of low-carbon technology on the global value chain. The results show that:(1)low-carbon technologies have a direct effect on the correlation degree of China-RCEP Southeast Asian value chain;(2)carbon emissions play a negative indirect impact on low-carbon technologies and value chain linkages;(3)Green technology innovation has a positive moderating effect on the correlation between low-carbon technology and value chain.
