At present,the risk of production safety in China has undergone structural changes,so we should adhere to overall development and safety.As a new kinetic energy for China's economic develop-ment,digital economy reduces production risks with the help of its development advantages,which has be-come the proper meaning of improving the efficiency of safe production management.The interactive relation-ship between digital economy and safety production governance benefits is verified by the provincial panel data of China from 2010 to 2021.The research finds that:(1)the development of digital economy can significantly improve the benefits of local safety production management;(2)The digital economy can empower the local safety production governance benefits through three ways:improving the government's digital attention,pro-moting the industrial collaborative agglomeration at the middle industry level and boosting the organization's own innovation ability;(3)Only when the digital economy develops to a certain level can the promotion of the digital economy be gradually highlighted.
