Improvement of the Synthesis of Methyl-3-(3,5-Di-Tert-Butyl-4-Hydroxyphenyl)-Propionate
The reaction principle of the synthesis of methyl-3-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)-propionate by 2,6-di-tert-butyl-phenol and methyl acrylics(MA)is studied.Different catalysts'effect on the synthesis is analyzed,the optimized catalyst formulation is n(KOH)/n(NaOH)=4 and n(M+)/n(phenol)=3%.Then a systematic study is conducted on various process parameters such as the raw material ratio,MA dosing speed,reaction pressure,reaction temperature,reac-tion holding time and so on.The optimum conditions are obtained,which may be useful for the industrial production opti-mization.
