Preparation of Polyacrylic Acid Using Esterified Wastewater and Its Scale Inhibition Properties Research
Polyacrylic acid scale inhibitor was prepared by aqueous solution polymerization method using esterifica-tion wastewater from the production of light-curing monomers as part of the raw material,and ammonium persulfate-sodi-um bisulfite as the initiator of redox system.Through orthogonal experiments,it was found that the optimal polymerization process were sodium bisulfite at 4%and ammonium persulfate at 2%,the initiation temperature was 75℃,the dropping time was 1.0 hour,the reaction time was 2 hours,and the mass concentration of acrylic acid monomer was 25%.When the molecular mass of polyacrylic acid was 3952 g/mol,it had the highest scale inhibition rate of 85%for calcium carbonate.Under the optimal conditions,the consumption rate of esterification wastewater reached about 80%.
