Abstract
Propionic acid is an important fine chemical raw material,with downstream applications concentrated in feed and food additives.This article provides an overview of the synthesis methods of propionic acid,with a focus on ana-lyzing the domestic and international production situation,major downstream demand,and import and export situation of propionic acid and its derivatives.
