水质在线设备总氮检测——非标间苯二酚法消解池产生红黑色杂质原因分析

研究了间苯二酚法在线测定总氮含量时存在的问题,发现消解池中会产生红黑色杂质,使测量结果偏大.通过分析反应原理及可能存在的副反应,推断间苯二酚与Fe3+的络合反应是红黑色杂质的主要来源,并进行了实验验证,建议采用纯度更高的硫酸并定期拆洗消解池以改善红黑杂质干扰问题.
An Analysis on the Cause of Reddish Black Impurities Created in Digestion Pool of an Online Unit of Non-Standardized Resorcinol Method for the Determination of Total Nitrogen in Water
Existing issues in the online determination of total nitrogen content in water by a non-standardized resorcinol method were studied.It has found that reddish black impurities could be created in the digestion pool so as to cause a bit higher measuring results.Through an analysis on the reaction principles and any possible secondary reactions,the primary source of the reddish black impurities was inferred to be a complex reaction between resorcinol and Fe(Ⅲ)that has been verified by conducting experiments.To eliminate the interference,it is suggested to use more purified sulphuric acid whilst regularly demounting and cleaning the digestion pool.
