Sociality,Subjectivity and the Reflective Construction of Knowledge Structure and Practical Mode of Social Work-Inspiration from Foucault
Social work is an important profession and institutional practice in modern society and has become an essential linking bridge from individual hardship to public agenda in the progress of modernization.However,social work is possible to turn into a part of the normative power system and then change into the governance in reality.Advocator with"sociality"has reviewed and responded to this core issue.The aim is to return to the essence of social work by regaining the"social"attributes of social work.The social paradigm explains the core attributes of social work from the macro or middle-level position,and may ignore the micro-oriented aspect of the service object and the life world.Therefore,this paper starts from Foucault's"subjectivity"thinking about social work,and tries to bring the subjectivity back into the social work knowledge structure and practice method.And further use the"discourse practice"as an important connection concept to mediate and integrate the two core dimensions of"sociality"and"subjectivity"of social work,and explain its practical principles and action system,making it possible to become an important social work practice mode.Under the new era of social work in current China,it is particularly important to rethink the relationship between the subjectivity and sociality of social work.
