From"Standing Tall"to"Standing on the Ground":Zheng Hangsheng's Sociological Practice Shift in His Later Years
In the academic course of exploring and developing sociology with Chinese characteristics,Mr.Zheng Hangsheng advocated and practiced the principle of"standing tall and standing on the ground".With theoretical self-consciousness and world vision of"standing tall",he creatively put forward the"four theories"of sociology with Chinese characteristics,such as social operation theory,social transition theory,discipline localization theory and social mutual construction theory.In his later years,he earnestly practiced by going to grass-roots communities in Hangzhou,Zhengzhou,Guangzhou and Shenzhen to carry out fieldwork,making a shift towards practical sociology.He established a comprehensive system of sociological theory and practice with Chinese characteristics,making important contributions to the construction and development of independent knowledge system of sociology with Chinese characteristics sociology and providing new directions.Revisiting and reflecting on the sociological thought and practical shift of"standing tall and standing on the ground",we aim to fully learn and understand the essence of sociology with Chinese characteristics,as well as to accurately comprehend the essential requirements and feasible paths for constructing a theoretical,academic and discourse system of sociology with Chinese Characteristics in the new era.
