Study on Power Attenuation Characteristics of Solar Panels for Lunar Rovers
The analysis of the power attenuation characteristics of solar panels is of great significance for the power balance, power system health management, and long life on-orbit management of extraterrestrial surface probers.Based on the study of the current telemetry during the 2nd to 11th months of lunar patrol,a method is proposed to analyze the power attenuation characteristics of solar panels based on limited telemetry.A hysteresis loop method is used to process a large number of current telemetry data, and then the Sun-Moon distance and the angle of solar incidence are normalized by data fitting calculation. The results show that the power attenuation of the solar panel is about 2.5%in the first year of the falling moon. The effectiveness of the method is verified by the variation of the solar incident angle at the waking time of the day in the past months. The proposed method can provide some references for the power attenuation characteristics of solar panels of extraterrestrial objects.
