Space-based Bearing-only Target Location Method Based on Hypothesis Testing
In this paper, ahypothesis testing method is proposed for the localization of non-cooperative targets by space-basedbearing-onlysatellites.When the observation of the azimuth angle is not satisfactory and the observability condition cannot be satisfied, multiple possible target trajectories are given by assuming the flight altitude of the target. The target model is identified, and the existing prior information is used as the confidence evaluation standard of the hypothetical track. The hypothesis with low probability is rejected, the flight altitude range of the target is narrowed, and the localization accuracy of the target is improved. The simulation results show that the error interval of the target height estimation can be reduced by more than 50%,which verifies the potential of the proposed method in multi-source information fusion.
