Selection of cross-border logistics service providers based on fuzzy evidential reasoning
In order to select cross-border logistics service providers rationally,an evaluation model based on the fuzzy evidential reasoning algorithm is constructed. On the basis of the distinctive characteristics of cross-border logistics, hard and soft indicators of alternative logistics service providers are taken into account comprehensively. The correlation analysis is employed to screen these indicators, thereby establishing a scientific evaluation system for logistics service providers.Various quantitative processing methods(such as exact numbers, interval numbers, and semantic fuzzy numbers)are introduced to overcome unquantifiable defects of indicators. The index weights are determined using the combination weighting method of game theory. The fuzzy evidential reasoning method is employed to effectively address the uncertainty caused by various index types and complex system structures. The combination weighting method enhances the differentiation of alternative logistics service providers by 3.055 and 3.396 percentage point, respectively, compared with the other two weighting methods. This finding verifies the advantage of the proposed model and provides scientific references for the decision-making of cross-border enterprises.
