This study systematically evaluated the effect contracted family doctor services in the management of patients with type 2 diabetes in China.After comprehensive analysis,23 articles covering data from 2,860 patients with type 2 diabetes were obtained.The meta-analysis showed that the experimental group's post-intervention blood glucose levels were lower than the control group's,and self-management ability,diabetes knowledge,and patient satisfaction were significantly higher in the intervention group than in the control group(P＜0.05).Contracted family doctor services enable patients with type 2 diabetes to master professional knowledge of diabetes and a scientific diet and appropriate exercise.The use of such services also improves blood sugar level control,significantly improves patients'blood sugar levels,delays the disease's development,and improves patients'quality of life and nursing satisfaction.Contracted family doctor services change the primary health management structure but strengthen the primary health management network's functionality.
