Based on the CHARLS(China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study)survey data,this paper explored the long-term impact of original family environment on future income of individual.This paper findings are as follows:(l)The difference in the original family environment during childhood is one of the causes of income inequality;(2)The difference in the original family environment during childhood resulted in differences in the return and stock of individual human capital and then evolved into a kind of income equality;(3)In fact,the income equality resulted from original family environment is more of a kind of income equality between the poor and rich.Income equality is not formed in the short term but is accumulated in the life course.Making equal rights of survival and development for minors is forward-looking to reduce social income inequality.
