Strengthening and improving community-level social governance is the main content and fundamental work for promoting the modernization of the national governance system and capacity.Grid construction and development have been conducted in China for more than 20 years and currently cover urban and rural areas across the country.They had a significant impact on the system,units,structure,methods,channels,and models of community-level social governance in China,promoting structural changes in community-level social governance.However,there were also significant differences in the internal governance structures and generalized functions of grid personnel during development.Against the background of further deepening reform around the Chinese path to modernization,it will be possible to strengthen and improve grid construction in many ways to deepen the reform of community-level social governance.
