Design of water injection huff and puff to supplement formation energy in horizontal fractured horizontal wells
In view of the characteristics of gradually decreasing formation pressure and insufficient energy supply in horizontal wells with horizontal fractures in the Yanchang Oilfield,the sensitivity analysis of water injection huff and puff to supplement formation energy was analyzed.The study showed that different injection rates affect the formation pressure recovery speed,while has little effect on the incremental oil.The higher cumulative injection volume doesn't mean higher incremental oil.When the injection volume is low,the water injection may be insufficient to supplement the energy.However,when the injection volume is too high,the water channeling may happen.When water injection stopped,there is a process of formation pressure reduction and rebalancing in the reservoir,so it is recommended that the well should be shutting down for 15 to 30 days after water injection completed.On this basis,the on-site implementation parameters of water injection huff and puff for two horizontal wells were designed.
