Innovative application of rapid work resumption process for stuck central string of sand control section in Bonan
With the development of the offshore oil industry, the proportion of ultra deep wells, extended reach wells, and horizontal wells increases year by year.String sticking occurs more frequently due to high well temperature and pressure, significant string load, complex wellbore trajectories, etc. In this paper,to solve the problem of frequent sticking of central string of sand control section of the deep Y-tube oil well in Bonan, the stuck central string below the seal was located by a releasing tool first and then tied back by the tool after pump check, resulting in rapid work resumption of oil wells. The safety joint developed in this process can be actively released after central string sticking, thus avoiding cutting and fishing processes. The developed compensative tie-back tool can effectively tie back the release tool and oil tube cutting point and meet the needs of steel wire and cable operations. The developed anti-sticking directional guide tool can rotate and reverse the tool ends in the wells. At present, this process has been applied many times in Bonan Kenli 10-1 well,Bozhong 35-2 well, etc.,with good results.
