Study on the difference of deep shale reservoir and its influence on gas bearing in Longmaxi formation in Southeast Sichuan
Based on the drilling data of Y-A well in Yongchuan area and L-B well in Lintanchang structural area, the reservoir characteristics such as petrology and microscopic pore structure were studied, and the differences of the same set of deep shale reservoirs in the two blocks and their effects on gas bearing capacity were compared. The results show that there is no significant difference in organic geochemical characteristics between Y-A and L-B Wells. The degree of organic matter thermal evolution is moderate. The pore types of the two Wells are very similar, mainly developed organic matter pores, clay minerals and pyrite intercrystalline pores. The main reason for the difference in gas content between the two wells is the location of the structure, which is mainly reflected in the fact that Y-A well is mostly characterized by intra layer tension fractures or bedding shear fractures, while L-B well is mainly characterized by high angle interlayer fractures, which cause shale gas to escape and greatly reduce gas content.
