Characteristics and impacts of calcareous interlayers in E oilfield in the eastern South China Sea
The study of calcareous interlayers is of great significance for the fine study of reservoirs.Through the analysis of dynamic and static data, research was conducted on the lithology, logging, distribution characteristics, and their impact on oilfield performance of the calcareous interlayer in the E oilfield in the eastern South China Sea.The results show that E oilfield is divided into three types of calcareous interlayers:bioclastic limestone, bioclastic sandstone, and calcareous sandstone. The thickness of the interlayers ranges from 0.2 to 1.5m,and the logging characteristics of calcareous interlayers less than 0.5m are not obvious; The calcareous interlayers between single sand bodies are distributed at a depth of over 100m and develop continuously; The internal thickness of a single sand body is less than 0.5m,and the plane distribution range of calcareous interlayers is less than 100m;Using a vertical 0.2m grid to establish a geological model, the model is more in line with dynamic characteristics.
