Petrophysical modeling based on effective stress effects
The research work area W block is located in the southern part of the Sichuan Basin, the target reservoir is buried deeply, generally greater than 3500m,and the depth gradually increases from north to south, with a high formation pressure coefficient. This study starts from the relationship between effective stress and pore aspect ratio, and combines logging data and experimental data to conduct petrophysical modeling. Finally, use the established petrophysical model to predict velocity, which is in good agreement with the actual logging data and verifies the validity and accuracy of the model.
