Analysis of Continuous Sealing Technology and Operation Process
Limestone fractures are widely developed in Neogene the Pearl River Formation in the South China Sea,with good connectivity and easy leakage. Also in Lufeng and Huizhou blocks, the lost circulation accidents are mainly concentrated in the limestone, sandstone and calcareous siltstone intervals of the Neogene the Pearl River Formation. The lost circulation phenomenon exists in the process of normal drilling, handling downhole accidents, tripping out and pressure measurement operations. The leakage of limestone formation has the characteristics of fast speed, slow effect of conventional plugging methods and long loss time. This paper analyzes the leakage mechanism in view of this leakage situation. In view of the fracture propagation leakage caused by the expansion of micro pores and micro fractures in limestone formation of the Pearl River Formation,a continuous sealing material NETLOCK is removed. The laboratory performance shows that it can significantly improve the success rate of plugging, and has a high popularization significance.
