Research on the Development Law and Recovery Prediction of CO2 Flooding in Low Permeability Reservoirs
Poor physical properties of low permeability reservoirs making it difficult to inject water for development and resulting in poor production efficiency.CO2 is easier to inject than water,CO2 flooding can improve oil recovery and store CO2 underground, which is an important way for the petroleum industry to practice green and low-carbon development. In response to the unclear impact of reservoir rock properties and reservoir pressure levels on the effectiveness of CO2 flooding, this study conducted CO2 flooding experiments using cores with different permeability and under different pressures. The development laws of CO2 flooding were analyzed, and a CO2 flooding recovery rate prediction model was established to provide basic guidance for the efficient development of CO2 flooding in low-permeability reservoirs.
