Reservoir characteristics and major factors of wave controlled sand body in Enping Sag,Pearl River Mouth Basin
Enping A Oilfield is the first medium permeability shallow heavy oil oilfield developed by water injection in the the Pearl River Mouth Basin. After water injection, some layers are ineffective, the reservoir energy is insufficient, and the oil recovery rate is low.It is necessary to analyze the reservoir heterogeneity. This article is based on core analysis, logging curves, dynamic data, and interlayer distribution characteristics to study the heterogeneity characteristics of the Hanjiang Formation reservoir in Enping A Oilfield and its impact on the distribution of remaining oil. From three aspects of plane, intra layer, and micro analysis, the reservoir heterogeneity of Oilfield A is severe, with the development of muddy and calcareous interlayers, which mainly have three vertical connectivity modes. The distribution of porosity and permeability parameters and heterogeneity coefficient on the plane is significantly influenced by the distribution of sedimentary microfacies and sand bodies. After water injection development, the strong heterogeneity of the reservoir affects the transmission of development energy, which is the main reason for affecting fluid supply.
