Study on the synthesis of silicon-containing anionic initiators and their application in modified SSBR
A solution polymerized styrene butadiene rubber modified with silane at both ends was synthesized using self synthesized lithium silicon as the initiator, divinylbenzene DVB as the coupling agent, and chlorosilane as the blocking agent, and its performance characteristics were studied. The results showed that the self synthesized functionalized lithium silicon initiator can stably obtain a yield of over 90%,with good storage stability and high activity; The synthesized double ended SSBR containing silicon modification showed a 6.5%increase in wear resistance,a 4℃decrease in compression heat generation, and a 21.5%decrease in rolling resistance compared to SSBR using n-BuLi as the initiator, demonstrating excellent fuel economy.
