Establishment and Application of Dynamic Characteristic Equations for Hydraulic Jet Pumps under Different Densities
The hydraulic jet pump has the advantages of no moving parts,a wide range of lifting flow rate,no POOH and RIH during pump inspection, short workover time, and low workover cost. Therefore, this equipment will have a wide application prospect in the early stage of liquid discharge and injection wells in offshore oil fields. However, the characteristic equation used in the current selection of hydraulic jet pumps is derived based on the assumption that the dynamic liquid density and production liquid density are the same. The characteristic equation is more suitable for selecting the jet pump type for drainage wells with similar fluid densities, while for drainage wells with large differences in fluid densities, the selected pump type and working parameters differ greatly from the actual operating parameters of the pump, which affects the pumping effect. To more accurately describe the impact of fluid density differences on pump characteristics and further improve the level of pump selection.Based on the energy equation and momentum equation,we established the dynamic characteristic equations of hydraulic jet pumps at different densities and applied these equations to pump selection, resulting in good oil well drainage performance.
