Analysis of Industrial 1,6-Hexanediamine and Its Impurities by Gas Chromatography
1,6-Diaminohexane is an important organic chemical intermediate that contains two highly reactive amino functional groups,making it highly susceptible to condensation reactions.1,6-Diaminohexane can be used to synthesize various important chemical raw materials,mainly for synthesizing nylon 66.Its synthesis technology and industrial production have always been of great concern.This article studied the qualitative and quantitative analysis of industrial 1,6-hexanediamine and its impurities using Shimadzu SH-5 column gas chromatography.The retention time method was used to determine the main impurities,including cyclohexane,hexamethylene imine,1,2-diaminocyclohexane,and 1,6-diaminohexamine.And the external standard method was used to quantify the content of each substance.This method has high precision,good accuracy,and a recovery rate between 95%~101%.
