Research on Life Extension Technology and Application of Offshore Oil Platforms
At present,the design lifespan of offshore oil platforms is generally 15-20 years.Due to the needs of actual production and cost savings,platforms beyond the design lifespan still have high utilization value.It is necessary to evaluate,extend their lifespan,and maintain them to ensure the maximization of offshore oil and gas exploration and development benefits.This article takes fixed offshore oil platforms in shallow waters as the research object,studies their life extension evaluation methods,and provided relevant technical assistance for safe operation and efficient production of the platforms.
