深水钻井地层呼吸效应原因分析及处理措施

在海洋深水区块开展钻探作业,由于地层处于欠压实状态,地层坍塌压力和漏失压力间的安全作业压力窗口小,作业期间环空当量循环密度(ECD)易超过地层漏失压力当量密度,引起地层产生呼吸效应,钻进期间泥浆进入地层,停泵时地层返吐产生溢流现象.地层呼吸效应与溢流表现非常相似,现场对两种工况难以区分判断,导致在处理过程中浪费时间,增加作业风险.基于墨西哥湾某井发生呼吸效应采取的处理应对措施,对地层呼吸效应进行原因分析,建立了呼吸效应识别方法,阐述预防产生呼吸效应方法,总结了发生呼吸效应可采取的处理措施,为现场施工作业应对处理地层呼吸效应提供参考和技术支持.
Cause analysis and treatment measures of formation respiration effect in deep water drilling
In Marine deep water blocks for drilling,because the formation is under compacted,the formation collapse pressure and leakage between the safety working pressure small window,homework during annulus equivalent circulating density(ECD)easily exceed the equivalent density of formation leakage pressure,breathing effect on formation,drilling fluid into the formation during drilling,When the pump is stopped,the formation vomits back and overflow occurs.The effect of formation respiration is very similar to that of overflow,making it difficult to distinguish between the two conditions in the field,resulting in a waste of time and increased operational risk.In this paper,treatment measures based on respiratory effect in a well in the Gulf of Mexico,the causes of the formation respiratory effect are analyzed,the identification method of the formation respiratory effect is established,the prevention method of the formation respiratory effect is described,and the treatment measures that can be taken for the occurrence of the formation respiratory effect are summarized,so as to provide reference and technical support for the field construction operations to deal with the formation respiratory effect.
