Evaluation of the influence of reservoir bottom water contact relationship on periodic waterflooding
The development of bottom water in Jurassic shallow reservoirs is uneven, with significant differences in physical properties and bottom water energy. At present, cyclic water injection is a widely used water injection policy to slow down the increase in water content in Jurassic reservoirs. However, due to the unclear exploration of the impact of different bottom water contact relationships on the cyclic water injection effect, reservoirs implement cyclic water injection regardless of whether they have bottom water, resulting in significant differences in the cyclic water injection effect of reservoirs under different conditions. This article takes the Jurassic D reservoir with significant differences in bottom water development in different parts as an example, evaluates the cyclic water injection effect under different bottom water contact relationships in the north and south of the reservoir, systematically analyzes and summarizes the cyclic water injection policies that adapt to different bottom water contact relationships, and provides certain methods and ideas for cyclic water injection in similar reservoirs.
