THORNTONmodelling and the H&S(Hustad&Sonju)method for calculating the consequences of gas pipeline jet fire accidents
As an important clean energy source, natural gas is widely used in industrial production activities, and pipeline transportation is themain way to deliver natural gas resources.Due to various reasons, when the pipeline fails, serious accidents such as jet fires, vapor cloud explosions, flash fires, etc.may occur along with the spread of natural gas,of which jet fires are themost common. In this paper, the THORNTONmodel and the H&S(Hustad&Sonju)method are used to simulate and calculate the accidental impact range of jet fires after natural gas pipeline leakage,so as to provide reference for the design and safe operation of natural gas pipelines.
