Study on the treatment strategy for wellbore corrosion in Jiudong oilfield
With the continuous development of oilfields,the water cut of oil wells is gradually increasing,leading to a growing severity in pipe rod corrosion.The proportion of pump inspections caused by pump leakage,pipe leakage,pipe rod breakage,and downhole tool failure has been steadily rising year after year.In Jiudong oilfield,the percentage of pump inspection wells attributed to corrosion has increased by 21% annually.This not only adds complexity to maintenance operations and hampers the normal production of oil wells but also hinders cost reduction and expense control efforts.Therefore,there is an urgent need to investigate the factors contributing to well corrosion and develop effective treatment strategies.
