Research on Speciated VOC Emission Inventory of a Typical Petrochemical Enterprise Based on Source Profiles
Taking a petrochemical enterprise on the north shore of Hangzhou Bay as the research object,VOC emission inventories were obtained via survey and calculation.Combined with the source profiles obtained from manual sampling of the emission sources and analysis by gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry(GC-MS)in laboratory, the VOC species of organized emissions mainly included formaldehyde and acetaldehyde, while the VOC species of unorganized emissions mainly included isopentane,acetaldehyde,benzene,n-pentane,2-methylpentane,etc.The species contributing to ozone formation from high to low were formaldehyde,cis-2-butene,acetaldehyde,isopentane,cis-2-pentene,and cis-2-butene,etc.This study creatively proposed a method to account emission inventories of speciated VOCs,by combining speciated source profiles with emission inventories of various source items.Further, detailed recommendations for emission reduction were provided based on the results.
