Research and Practice on the Boundary of Single Pipe Cold Transportation
As old oilfields enter the later stage of development, some oilfields have a comprehensive water content of over 80%.How to reduce energy consumption through single pipe cold transportation has become an important issue. This paper aims to determine a reasonable inlet oil temperature for a certain oilfield through a sticky wall temperature test. The total heat transfer coefficient is determined based on the actual production parameters of nearby oilfields.Hydraulic and thermal calculations are carried out using PIPESIM software for different properties of crude oil,and single pipe cold transportation boundary conditions are determined.Chemical addition and viscosity reduction tests are carried out for difficult cold transportation wells, and a chemical addition cold transportation plan is determined. The cold transportation project has been successfully applied on site.
