Analysis and Research on Distributed Fiber Optic Sensing Principle
Distributed fiber optic sensing technology has significant application value in underground resource exploration due to its advantages of high precision, rapid measurement, and real-time monitoring of underground dynamic changes. This paper provides an in-depth analysis of distributed fiber optic sensing technology, focusing primarily on the principles of Distributed Acoustic Sensing(DAS)based on Rayleigh scattering and Distributed Temperature Sensing(DTS)based on Optical Time Domain Reflectometry(OTDR)technology. With the advancement of technology and the growing demand for applications, this technology will play a more important role in energy development.
