Torque prediction method in Inverted salvage operation based on integral calculation
In the overhaul operation of oil and gas wells, the insertion of high-strength drill rods is a very effective treatment measure to reverse hook and catch fish such as downhole oil pipes and screen blind pipes. However,in the actual operation process, due to various factors, the success rate of reverse fishing operations is not high. The root cause is still the unclear torque analysis and inadequate understanding of the entire drill string and fish during the reverse fishing process. This article is about simplifying the drill string into a hollow cylindrical model, integrating its polar moment of inertia, and theoretically deducing and calculating the number of reverse turns of the drill string to assist in on-site analysis and judgment, optimizing the combination of reverse fishing tools, making the reverse fishing operation more refined and improving the success rate of fishing.
