Research and application of long wavelength constrained residual static correction technology
Due to changes in near surface conditions, static correction problems arise in seismic exploration. The existence of static correction problems seriously affects imaging quality and can also cause structures. Therefore, solving the problem of static correction is crucial for seismic exploration. In practical production, tomographic static correction is usually used to solve the problem of mid to long wavelength static correction, and residual static correction based on surface consistency is used to solve the problem of mid to short wavelength static correction. However, conventional surface consistency residual static correction techniques can introduce unreliable long wavelength quantities in areas with low signal-to-noise ratio and insufficient coverage, causing structures in imaging profiles. The long wavelength constrained residual static correction technique studied in this article is consistent with the surface, which can constrain the long wavelength when solving the residual static correction, avoiding unreasonable long wavelength residual static correction from being carried into the residual static correction of shot points and detection points, thereby improving imaging quality and avoiding structures. It has achieved good results in practical data applications in desert work areas.
