Oilfield casing damage is caused by corrosion,mechanical damage,etc.This paper analyzes the corrosion mechanism and its impact on oil production,exploring prevention and control techniques.Findings show casing corrosion includes uniform,localized,and stress corrosion,influenced by environmental,material,and operational factors.Electrochemical and non-destructive testing can assess corrosion and formulate anti-corrosion measures.The paper introduces material selection,cathodic protection,and inhibitor application,verified by case studies.Research indicates scientific corrosion control significantly extends casing life,ensuring safe and stable oilfield production.
