Application research of transient surface wave detection in the evaluation of filling density in backfill areas
In urban engineering construction, there are many construction projects that require compactness testing of fill materials in the backfill area. This article takes the recently emerged multi-channel transient Rayleigh surface wave method as an example for surface wave detection in the Ersheng New Materials Project site in Anshun City,Guizhou Province,Explained the instrument equipment, working principle, field layout, data interpretation, and application effects of transient surface waves. In cases where the application effect is very close to reality,it can be concluded that Rayleigh waves have the strongest energy in the wave group generated by vertical excitation, are easy to identify, have low requirements for the site, have certain penetration ability, and high shallow resolution.Transient surface wave detection has been proposed to evaluate the compactness of backfill materials in the backfill area, provide reference for engineering construction quality and Selection of shallow plate load test points in the backfill area.
