For the uniqueness and complexity of gas-top reservoir development,taking the development practice of B oilfield in the North Sea of the UK as an example,we study the impact of oil and gas Commingled on the development of gas cap reservoirs in the North Sea offshore and put forward the practical solution of gas cones for the prominent problem of the field.This paper focuses on realizing the real-time identification of gas cone occurring wells,controlling the impact of gas cone on production and realizing the compliant and efficient development of offshore oilfields in the North Sea by utilizing the relationship between the wellhead flow pressure and subsea confluence pressure difference and the production parameters of the wells.
