Determination of mercury content in industrial sulfur by microwave digestion atomic fluorescence spectrophotometry
This article establishes a method for deter mining the mercury content in industrial sulfur using microwave digestion atomic fluorescence spectrophotometry by opti mizing the selection of carrier fluid type, potassiu m borohydride concentration, and digestion conditions. This method has a linear correlation coefficient greater than 0.999 for mercury containing sa mples with a concentration range of 0~5 μg/L,a mercury RSD of less than 4.5%,and a spiked recovery rate of 100.00%~113.50%.It is fast,si mple, and accurate, and can provide technical reference for screening raw materials in downstrea m sulfur manufacturing industries.
