Application of Pre-stack Inversion Technology in Reservoir Prediction of Braided River Delta Front
Braided river delta is a type between river delta and fan delta, which is a favorable oil and gas reservoir zone and often develops structural or lithological oil and gas reservoirs.Due to the thin thickness of the single layer sand body in the front edge of the braided river delta reservoir and the significant variation in lateral thickness,it is difficult to distinguish the physical characteristics of the reservoir and surrounding rock, which poses difficulties for reservoir prediction and oil and gas detection. This article takes the braided river delta front reservoir in a certain block of the Bohai Bay Basin as an example.Through the construction of rock physics sensitive parameters and the establishment of fine inversion initial models, key technologies are studied.Pre-stack inversion is used to predict the distribution form and range of the braided river delta front sand body,as well as the fluid properties of the reservoir. This effectively solves the technical problems of reservoir prediction and fluid detection for the braided river delta front subfacies sand body.
