Analysis and Solution Measures for Cracks in Expansion Joints of Super Dual Phase Steel Heat Exchange Tubes
In response to the phenomenon of heat exchanger tube expansion and cracking found in the heat exchanger tube bundle of a company's hydrogenation plant reaction product and hydrogen oil mixing during manufacturing,macroscopic inspection,metallographic analysis,inclusions statistics,hardness testing and fracture micro-morphological analysis of two heat exchanger tubes with expansion and cracking parts were carried out.The results show that the main reason for the cracking of the expanded tube is that the hardness of the heat exchanger tube is too large,followed by brittle fracture of the fracture outer surface toward the inner region,and several abnormal inclusions in the brittle fracture region,which appear as delamination phenomenon,leading to ring cracking of the heat exchanger tube under the expansion force.In summary,the article also puts forward corresponding countermeasures and treatment methods for the causes of cracks
